Where Can I Find A
Graphics Program?

Without Transparency

Here's part of the scoop of transparency.  Many of us use white pages for HTML documents, therefore, transparency is not usually an issue.  However, it can become a problem with colored backgrounds.  That is why it is recommended that  you use a nasty color for the background of the graphic.  (This graphic does not have a transparent background.)

With Transparency: Oops, There's a Problem

Here, I changed the background to white and made the graphic transparent.  Notice ... EVERYTHING that is white is now transparent.  The 'H's in the Clover have disappeared.

With Transparency: It Works!

This is the original graphic with the pink background.  Notice ... no pink, but the background is transparent and you can now see the 'H's.  This is the key to transparency.
