Here's part of the scoop of transparency. Many
of us use white pages for HTML documents, therefore,
transparency is not usually an issue. However,
it can become a problem with colored backgrounds.
That is why it is recommended that you use a nasty
color for the background of the graphic. (This
graphic does not have a transparent background.)
With Transparency: Oops, There's a Problem
Here, I changed the background to white and made the
graphic transparent. Notice ... EVERYTHING that
is white is now transparent. The 'H's in the Clover
have disappeared.
With Transparency: It Works!
This is the original graphic with the pink background.
Notice ... no pink, but the background is transparent
and you can now see the 'H's. This is the key
to transparency.
