BaR Lab is a reseach group at Purdue University at Indianapolis. We are in the process of developing a bio-sonar model for target recognition and classification based on the sonar system used by the FM bat: Myotis Lucifugus. This is an interdisciplinary research group that involves researchers from Computer Science, Engineering, and Neuro Science.
Please Note: We do not conduct any behavioral study on bats. Therefore, please do not enquire about behavioral aspects of bats. If you would like to know about bat houses, attracting bats, or saving bats please contact Bat Conservation International.

Bats, Nature's bug patrol: This is a great article that talks about bats. "Her name is Jane, she's probably just a yearling. She was found clinging to a wall, very underweight for her size and age and unlikely to survive the winter without help . So we've been feeding her, fattening her up so she can be released back to the wild."
James Buzbee's Bat House: This is a great site with more links to other bat related sources.
Bat Conservation International: This is one of the organization involved in Bat conservation.
Bat Ecology Bioacoustic Laboratory: Another research group working on Bats.
U. S. Fish and Wild Life Service: A federal goverment organization that deals with animal conservation.
