Streaming Media Proposal

3. Continuum of delivery types

  • Professional quality production
  • Television broadcast for courses with widest appeal (Core courses)
  • Concurrently offer web-based alternatives
  • Packaged on CDs, so web access is optional
  • Video and sound capacity, based on bandwidth available
  • Synchronized to web pages that contain notes, examples, applets

Streaming Media Proposal

4. Dealing with electives

  • Some courses will not draw enough audience to justify televising
  • Go straight to web broadcast with these courses
  • Continue to offer an array of web-based options
  • We may need to invest in cameras or other technology to record these courses
