Advanced VB Midterm Project

You have been hired by a veterenarian's office to build a database management system. The office has only one doctor, with a very tight schedule. The system should track the following things:

The patients (animals) that the doctor sees
For each animal you should indicate
- The Animal's name
- The owner
- Kind of animal
- Breed
- Date of Birth
- Weight
You should also have a scheduling system. This should involve
- The date and time of the appointment
- The owner
- The animal
- The complaint or procedure to be examined
Finally, they would like a report for each invoice printed out by the company. You do not need to print the invoice, but you must store appropriate information, including:
- The customer's name
- The amount paid
- The date
- The services rendered
- The type of payment

You may include more data, but these minimum specifications are necessary. You may use whatever technology you wish, but keep in mind it must be useable or the office will not buy it. They are especially interested in these criterion:

The program must be accurate
It must be easy to use. Office staff are often volunteers
It should be easy to upgrade
It should have a professional look and feel
