The Department of Computer and Information Science invites applications for two tenure track faculty positions at all levels, beginning August 2010.

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science or closely related field at time of appointment, and are expected to develop a high-quality funded research program and be committed to excellence in teaching undergraduates and graduate students. Applications are accepted from candidates in all areas of computer science, though we are especially interested in candidates with expertise in web technology, algorithms in high performance computing, biocomputing, databases, visual analytics, and network security.

The application must consist of a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, and a statement of research direction and teaching interests. Applicants should also arrange for three letters of recommendation to be mailed directly to the Committee.
