Local Arrangements

• Location. The MSW'08 conference will be held at Informatics and Communications Technology Complex (IT Building) at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis. The IT Building address is: 535 W Michigan St, Indianapolis, IN 46202.

• Hotel. The closest hotel for MSW'08 is University Place Conference Center And Hotel.
  
  You can reserve your room at the hotel via two ways: by phone (1-800-627-2700) or on-line at University Place Conference Center And Hotel
  
  In case the University Hotel is out of rooms or you prefer to stay at other hotels, the following are some nearby ones.

• Directions.
  • By driving: Click here
  • By flight. Flight to Indianapolis International Airport (IND) and take taxi (or rent a car and drive) to IUPUI campus (about 12 minutes driving).
    Directions from Airport Take Airport Expressway East (towards Downtown Indianapolis) and it will merge with I-70. On I-70, proceed toward downtown Indianapolis. Stay in the left hand lanes in order to merge onto I-65, heading for Chicago. On I-65, proceed toward downtown Indianapolis and continue following signs for Chicago. Stay in the left hand lanes. The lanes on the right go to Columbus, OH. The exit for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street/West Street is a LEFT EXIT. Take exit 114 for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street/West Street. Proceed south on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street for about 0.4 miles through three stoplights. Continue through last light in series of four to merge onto West Street. Proceed south on West Street about .3 miles to Michigan Street. Turn right on Michigan Street and then turn left into the parking lot.

  • If you stay at a closeby hotel, please walk to the IT building. See Direction for walking from the University Hotel to the IT Building.
  • The parking lot is located west of the IT building. See Yellow Parking Lot. We plan to purchase some one-day parking tickets for our workshop participants. It will be helpful that if you need parking ticket, please email Dr. Xukai Zou at xkzou@cs.iupui.edu with subject "MSW'08 parking" by Thursday noon. Once arriving by driving, please park your car in the parking lot first and then go to the registration desk in the IT building to register along with getting parking ticket (for free :-)).
  • The parking permit from IU Bloomington and Purdue is valid at IUPUI, so IUB and PU participants can use yours for parking.
